Brainstorm Blog #1- Son of a Glitch!

For this project I chose to take inspiration from early internet blogs and the concept of digital reality. I thought to myself: what would it be like to like in my own digital reality? I love the customizability of an internet persona and the unique dynamics of internet spaces. I wanted my project to be a celebration of internet culture and an exploration of the concept of digital reality. I wanted to use lots of cartoons, pastel colors, and subjects that embrace artifice. I had a super difficult time with data moshing and wasn't able to actually come up with anything useful for this project that I felt fit into my theme. I enjoyed text edit glitches the most, because I could incorporate relevant symbols and messages into my pieces.
